2012 Completed a decade. Total Learning Centres 329 in 111 villages in Chennai Government Schools. ELE now overall covers 472 batches in 98 government Schools
2011 Crossed 600,00 children receiving support. Grade V introduced at Model School, with an increased strength of 257 students
2010 Continued support to pratham's ASER survey covering 1230 village. Extended ELE Course to 35 Govt schools covering 157 batches
2009 Launched ELE Course in 23 Govt Schools covering 31 batches
2008 Started Vidyarambam Model School in Nagapattinam upto Grade II with a strength of 132 students
2007 Executed Pratham's Read India Program in 3 districts covering 5613 villages, with 9400 volunteers supporting 161,383 children
2006 Started Support Classes for students of Grade II & III
2005 Supported Pratham in their very first ASER survey covering 240 villages in 8 districts. Introduced Mobile Toy Library

Our Vision
Vidyarambam is dedicated to providing enjoyable quality education to all the less-privileged and under-achieving children at pre-primary, primary and secondary levels, encouraging them to successfully continue their education.
Our Goal
In the coming years, Vidyarambam plans to i) increase its presence from 8 to 14 districts in Tamilnadu; ii) expand to provide Easy Learning English (ELE) to government secondary schools in the city; and iii) replicate the success of its model school in one other district
The Trust
Registered as a Not for profit Organization. Donors enjoy 100% tax exemption under section 35 AC and 50% exemption under section 80 G of the Income Tax act.
