QUALITY PRE-PRIMARY EDUCATION FOR ONE YEAR

Objective

Provide QUALITY BASIC EDUCATION FOR ONE YEAR for a child of age 4 and prepare her to join regular school with enough skill and self confidence.

Why the need to help?

Both parents are illiterate and daily wage earners. They send their child to balwadi because the child is in safe custody for about 6 hours and also gets free mid-day meal. This helps them to go to their workplace.

Child’s profile

She, as a routine, goes to Balwadi, plays, eats, sleeps and returns home. She has no exposure to basic education. No active learning takes place in her life.

If you help what will happen to her?

She will be enrolled into one of the Vidyarambam Learning Centers and will be initiated to basic education adopting play-way methods. She will be prepared to meet the challenge of education in regular schools.

What would be the cost?

Rs. 1100/ per child per term of about 11 months.

Feed back

You will get a periodical feedback about the progress of the beneficiary with photographs.

How much to donate

You can sponsor as many children as you can up to a maximum of 5000 children in multiples of 20
