Mr. M. The DRO Mr. K.S. Kandasamy, the DSWO Mrs. K. Anbazhagi, the AEEO Mr.R. Radha  a few Rotarians from the Rotary Madras Central, Chennai and the School Correspondent Ranganathan were present.

The Collector  gave a patient hearing to  know the status of the joint efforts of the Rotary Club and Vidyarambam Trust to provide a quality education to the under privileged children from the Tsunami affected area of Nagapattinam district.

He was keen in getting an assurance from the Rotary and Vidyarambam that the admissions would be primarily for the orphaned children and  for others from the under privileged families.  The school would not charge undue fees and put the poor parents to any hardship.

He has advised the committee to closely watch the performance of the school and report to him periodically.
