Pratham and its implementing partners in Tamil Nadu, Aid India and Vidyarambam presented their community based programs to an invited gathering of Chennai city entrepreneurs and celebrities. The Event was held on Saturday 19, March 2011 at The Southern Crown, GRT Grand, T. Nagar Chennai at 6.30 p.m.

Mr. N. Vaghul and Mr. Ramesh Mangaleswaran Members of the Board, Pratham Education Foundation addressed the gathering and invited them to support the cause of educating the rural under-privileged children with wealth or wisdom.

Vidyarambam was presented by Mr. Ranganathan and Aid India was presented by Mr. Balaji Sampath. The audience appreciated the services done by Pratham thro Aid India and Vidyarambam in Tamil Nadu and a few of the guests committed instant support.

A recital “A Dream Deferred” was performed by Anil Srinivasan and Sikkil Gurucharan followed by dinner. Mrs. Meenakshi Ramesh steered the Proceedings of the event.
