On May 28th, 2010, the President and the Secretary of the Trust visited the Corporate Hewitt Associates (India) Pvt. Ltd., Guindy, Chennai and gave a presentation about the projects of the Trust to about 15 group leaders. They all listened with all seriousness and had a few questions for clarification. Then we met Mr. Devasis Ghosh, Center Manager who also evinced keen interest in the activities of Vidyarambam.

Finally we were taken to a hall where hundreds of Hewitt employees were celebrating some cultural events (usual Friday gathering) and asked to speak about our project for a few minutes. The response was very good.

We are told that many have come forward offering monthly donations under the scheme called GAYE (Give As Your Earn). We thank Mr. Lakshmi Narasimhan, HRO of the company who organized our visit and arranged the presentation opportunities. As a memento, the employees presented note books, pencils etc for Vidyarambam children.

Vidyarambam has been recommended to Hewitt Associates by CAF India (Charity Aid Foundation, India). CAF has been continuously supporting Vidyarambam since the year 2005 for many projects through sponsors like British Airways, Microsoft, RBS, Aircel and now Hewitt for which Vidyarambam owes its special thanks.
