Mr. Ranganathan, Mr. Srisridharan and Mrs. Karthika were present. All Coordinators and Assessors from all the area of Tamilnadu participated in the training programme. Mrs Prema went in detail to explain the method of planning the Weekly Syllabus and the Daily Lesson Plan. The participants worked in groups and learnt to include the activities to cover all the six developments (Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Language, Cognitive, Social and Emotional) in the daily lesson plans. Mr.Srisridharan conducted a session on SPOKEN ENGLISH. He suggested each one of the participants to read a Tamil story and narrate it in English. It was a good effort to make the trainees learn the technique of framing sentences in English which is different from Tamil. On the last day, a review meeting was held in which Mr. Ranganathan sought the feed back from all the coordinators and assessors about the performance of the projects of Vidyarambam. They all said that the present system of having 3 centers in village covering age group 4 to 11 is very good because the children of any village in which Vidyarambam operates will have the attention of Vidyarambam till they complete the primary education. All of them in one voice said that in the next year we must scale to the level of more than 1000 centers which was the case 3 years before.
