Mobile Toy Library

After Tsunami a Mobile Toy Library has been introduced with toys to play more than 700 games. The unique feature of the Van is to have painting of multi-coloured games on the body of the van itself which could be played with multi-coloured magnetic game counters. Curriculum based quizzes, games and worksheets are made available. Attractive and memory power packed toys are included.

1. carries about 200 educational toys and games
2. trained volunteers guide the children to handle the toys and play the games
3. volunteers sing English & Tamil songs and children chant
4. halts at a school for 2-3 hours and allow children to enjoy playing on toys
5. attends 2 schools per day
6. vehicle goes around villages daily
